We are NOT complaining about elementalist's bad damage dealing capacity. I repeat, we are NOT complaining. The elementalist already has a somewhat high capacity for support roles.
We merely wish to dispel the myth that the elementalist is teh 00ber dmg dealer. Since nobody is bothered to go to the gladiator's forum themselves and check it out even though I quoted this topic quite a few times, here it is:
http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...d.php?t=113319
Read, and be enlightened. Or maybe not.

What myth learn to use it and you'll be pretty much the literal meaning of an assassin and you'll find ways of killing almost instantly.

Unfortunatly, opinion has nothing to do with it. It's all satistics, an elementalist is a weak class for damage dealing, this is FACT.

Elementalist is my favourite character...
And you can do alot of damage, if you know how to use your spells and if you do it in some kinda order, like Assassins do, you can deal alot of damage in short time...

And I am sick of hearing the "Shut up" people. That makes two of us.
Now are they 100% useless? Nope, Elemenalist still do have their own uses even if it may be smaller. Are they the worst at dealing damage? It has been shown time and time again that they are one of the worst.

Except that Warriors can still outdamage both Assassins&Eles in spiking and sustained damage.
Eles aren't good damage dealers, it's a fact. They're a good class, but not for damage.

I need to test this out. It's nice having people say that it's Factual that warriors deal more damage, but I'll test this out myself. I'll post any results that I find when I find the time to do some prep work.
At least this way, people can be 100% sure that what they say is Factual is actually Factual.
This is gonna be hard, I have to consider every instance^^.

Hmm i'm sure that shove requires you to be standing next to the target, so an ele can easily get you with a ranged spell with only a 1/4 second cast while you are running to him. Add a thunderclap or gale and he can keep you on the floor and run around you laughing.
